About me
Dr. Angeli Jayme is an Assistant Professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University. She leads her research group in understanding pavement behavior and its inherent role to balance user and environmental demands, address the emergence of new technologies, and uphold high levels of safety and reliability. Her research group focuses on asphalt material characterization, pavement mechanics, damage quantification, rehabilitation and maintenance planning, smart infrastructure, energy harvesting, and advanced mobility. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from UIUC, all in civil engineering. Dr. Jayme is an incoming chair of the Highway Pavement Committee in the ASCE Transportation and Development Institute and serves as the Verification & Validation of Pavement Models Task Force Lead in the Academy of Pavement Science and Engineering.
