Under the general direction of the deputy state engineer, Dr. Sandoval-Gil is the Chief Administrative and Executive officer of the Materials, Pavement Design, and Pavement Management group. His responsibilities include planning, organizing and leading activities to ensure that high-quality material is used and the proper testing is done on construction projects. Dr. Sandoval-Gil has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Major in Transportation Engineering; Master’s degree in Construction Administration; and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona.
